I've made several bags before, but not "messenger" style. I bought a quilting magazine a while ago and decided to tackle this bag. I think it turned out pretty cute, but I will do a bunch of things differently the next time I make one. (Oh, and yes I am moving in a week and a half, but feel like I can't really pack my house up yet - so I'm left with nothing to do except make projects!)

The bag turned out so adorable! What a fun idea to have a blog for your projects. Even though I know it's hard to pack too early, I can't believe you're finding time to do that! Good for you!
I think this is the exact kind of bag I want for a church bag. Did you keep this one or give it away?
The bag turned out really cute Lisa. I am glad that you started a project blog so I can keep up on all your creative ideas.
Collette,
I'm not quite sure what I'm doing with this bag. If I remember, I'll scan the instructions and email it to you. Or, if you really like mine (colors, fabric, etc), I would actually just give it to you.
NICE WORK LISA! The rounded corners turned out so well! Love it! I'm excited to see your next project posts!
Cute bag Lisa. I also really like your new blog!
Lisa, you are SO talented. You motivate me to try and just tackle new projects and try new things like that. I've never been too domestic, but every once in a while I get excited about doing something like that. Over a year ago, I bought some material to make some cute bags for my friends Mary and Catherine (from high school), but after my borrowed sewing machine kept getting jammed and I desperately needed to return it, I put them in the closet and haven't looked at them since. Horrible! Anyways, I really admire you!
