One of my friends recovered her infant car seat and at first I thought there was no way I was going to attempt that, but the more I looked at my old car seat, I realized how badly I either wanted a new car seat or at least a revamp on the old one. I found fabric I love from Seasons of Home, right here in Midway. The line is called All Stars by Riley Blake Designs. I love it so much that I'm going to make a car seat tent/canopy out of different fabrics out of the line as well. I bought the Etsy pattern from Puking Pastilles and with my 15 page colorful tutorial, I went to work. I'm so excited about the way it turned out and can't wait to bring home my new bundle in it, in a couple weeks.

Lisa - it looks great! Maybe I should have bought a pattern. I am almost done with mine and it is not as nicely fitted as yours for sure. Does it just cover the old cover or replace it? I like your fabric you picked out too.
It turned out way cute Lisa! I love it! Those fabrics look really cute together!
Let me know when you start working on the canopy part, I really want to make a cute one for Ethan's carseat.
Very cute Lisa! You did a great job! It is so fun to bring home a new baby in an awesome car seat!
Wow, that looks awesome! Maybe I should have done that instead of buying it. I need to learn how to really sew. The old carseat didn't look that bad, not nearly as bad as ours!! I like those fabrics and it will be great to have a matching canopy.
